The 2020 Status of Women in Miami-Dade County report found that the pay gap in Miami is largest when it comes to the legal field. Based on the 2018 Census, the Report shows that although there have been some wage increases for women within the top ten earning occupations, there are still significant gender gaps in earnings. For example, the second highest-earning occupations for women are legal occupations ($72,157), but the median earnings for men in legal occupations were 40.7% higher at $121,600.
